Survei Harga Kemahalan Konstruksi (SHKK)

The regional autonomy policy was issued by the government since 2000. This policy is aimed at accelerating regional development in a fair and equitable manner throughout Indonesia. In addition, the existence of regional autonomy is also expected to be able to overcome the problem of financial balance between regions in Indonesia. The balancing fund needed in the implementation of regional autonomy is the General Allocation Fund (DAU).

One of the variables used to calculate DAU is the Construction Expense Index (IKK) obtained from The Price of Construction Expense Survey (SHKK) is conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in all regencies/cities in Indonesia. Including in BPS Barito Utara Regency.

The survey is conducted 4 times a year, namely in January, April, July, and October. Data collected includes prices for building/construction materials, rental prices for construction equipment, and wages for construction services. IKK is an index that illustrates the level of comparison of prices of construction goods between regions. Barito Utara Regency IKK in 2019 is 102.01. This puts Barito Utara Regency as the 5th highest CCI of 14 districts/cities in Central Kalimantan.
