Strengthening One Indonesian Data (SDI) of Sectoral Statistics for Barito Utara Regency

The activity was opened by Pj. The Regent of Barito Utara was represented by Assistant III Regional Secretary, Yasser Arafat. In his speech, he said that the need for accurate data for development planning is very necessary for more measurable planning, monitoring and evaluation of regional development. The use of sectoral statistical data will have an impact on the implementation of more advanced development, therefore, a forum is needed to discuss the importance of sectoral statistical data for Barito Utara Regency. Cooperation, involvement and seriousness of the Regional Government of Barito Utara Regency are very necessary to realize SDI in Barito Utara Regency.

Then, the activity continued with a presentation on SDI by Akhmad Rizalie from Bappedalitbang. The presentation explained that a Regent's Regulation regarding SDI had been issued, therefore the SDI Forum in Barito Utara Regency must collaborate with each other. On this occasion, he also conveyed the role of each member of the SDI forum.

Since 2022, Barito Utara Regency has developed the One Data Portal. Head of Diskominfosandi, M. Ikhsan said that the one data portal aims to present data to the wider community, not just to data producers and regional apparatus. However, the challenge faced is that people are still not familiar with the One Data Portal, so it can start from regional officials who use it and get used to using the One Data Portal, then we can publish it to the public.

The activity continued with Sectoral Statistics Development by the Head of Barito Utara Regency BPS, Ahmad Nasrullah. He conveyed the importance of quality sectoral statistics, therefore collaboration between members of the SDI Forum is very necessary to support accurate and quality SDI for Barito Utara Regency, the aim of which is none other than the development of Barito Utara that is right on target.

In closing, valid, accurate and quality sectoral data is the main key to successful development. All members of the Barito Utara Regency SDI forum collaborate and support each other in implementing SDI within Barito Utara Regency.
