Abstract

Combined Farmers Term of Trade (FTT) in Kalimantan Tengah Province fell 1.94 points, from 100.47 percent (May 2020) to 98.53 percent (June 2020). This was influenced by the decline in the exchange rate of the smallholder estate crops (3.24 points), horticulture (1.51 points), food crops (0.66 points), and fisheries (0.31 points).
  • The price index received by farmers (𝐼𝑡) fell 1.36 points, while the price index paid by farmers (𝐼𝑏) rose 0.71 points.
  • The highest FTT occurred in the fisheries subsector (101.88 percent), followed by livestock (101.73 percent), horticulture (99.30 percent), smallholder plantations (97.79 percent), and food crops (97.67 percent).
  • Agricultural Household Exchange fell 1.31 points, from 101.72 percent (May 2020) to 100.41 percent (June 2020).
  • The Household Consumption Index in rural areas is 107.79 percent or inflation occurs 0.82 percent. There was an increase in the price index especially in the food, beverage and tobacco expenditure group.
