Abstract

The room occupancy rate (ROR) of star hotels during August 2020 increased by 7.2 2 points compared to July 2020, from 30.07 percent to 37.29 percent. The ROR for non-star hotels also rose 1.95 points, from 14.27 percent to 16.22 percent.

The average length of stay in August 2020 at star hotels reaches 1.58 days, while at non-star hotels 1.15 days.

The number of guests staying at star hotels in August 2020 rose 42.23 percent compared to the previous month, from 11,690 people to 16,627 people. The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also increased by 16.32 percent, from 47,669 people to 55,447 people.

Cumulatively, from January to August 2020, the number of guests staying at star hotels fell 48.55 percent over the same period the previous year, from 186,730 people to 96,072 people. The number of guests at non-star hotels also fell 11.26 percent, from 434,763 people to 385,804 people.
