Abstract

The inequality of population spending in Kalimantan Tengah is measured by the Gini Ratio in March 2021 of 0.323 points. This figure increased by 0.003 points compared to September 2020 which reached 0.320.
  • The inequality in population spending in urban areas was recorded at 0.353, or decreased by 0.004 points compared to September 2020 which was 0.357. Meanwhile, inequality in rural areas in March 2021 was recorded at 0.292 or increased by 0.002 points compared to September 2020.
  • The distribution of population expenditure in the lowest 40 percent group in March 2021 was recorded at 20.52 percent, including in the category of low inequality. Viewed by region, the distribution of expenditure for the lowest 40 percent of the population in urban areas is 18.80 percent, also in the low inequality category. Likewise for rural areas, the distribution reached 22.11 percent, still classified as low inequality.
