May 2022: The number of air and sea transportation passengers during May 2022 increased compared to April 2022, respectively by 48.32 percent and 47.64 percent

Abstract

Flight frequency increased by 23.52 percent, from 999 flights (April 2022) to 1,234 flights (May 2022).

The number of air transport passengers rose 48.32 percent, from 77,561 people (April 2022) to 115,041 people (May 2022).

Freight traffic using air transportation rose 52.62 percent, from 956 tons (April 2022) to 1,459 tons (May 2022).

The frequency of ship visits at ports in the Central Kalimantan region decreased by 19.66 percent, from 768 visits (April 2022) to 617 visits (May 2022).

The number of sea transport passengers rose 47.64 percent, from 40,842 people (April 2022) to 60,298 people (May 2022).

Freight traffic using sea transportation decreased by 23.25 percent, from 2.15 million tons (April 2022) to 1.65 million tons (May 2022).

Sea transportation passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai Port (68.86 percent), while the volume of goods flows at Sampit Port (69.45 percent).
