Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2022 is estimated at 109.76 thousand hectares, a decrease of 16.11 thousand hectares or 12.80 percent compared to the rice harvested area in 2021 which is 125.87 thousand hectares.

Rice production in 2022 is estimated at 353.86 thousand tons of GKG, a decrease of 27.32 thousand tons of GKG or 7.17 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which is around 381.19 thousand tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2022 for the population's food consumption is estimated to be around 210.20 thousand tons, a decrease of 16.23 thousand tons or 7.17 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 226.43 tons.
