Abstract

The percentage of poor people in September 2022 was 5.22 percent, an increase of 0.06 percentage points from September 2021 and a decrease of 0.06 points from March 2022.

The number of poor people in September 2022 was 144.52 thousand people, an increase of 0.58 thousand people from September 2021 and a decrease of 3.49 thousand people from March 2022.

The percentage of urban poor population in September 2022 was 5.09 percent, down 0.08 percentage points from March 2022. For rural areas, the proportion of poor people was 5.32 percent, also experiencing a decrease of 0.04 percent from March 2022.

The number of urban poor people increased by 0.09 thousand people from 59.84 thousand people in March 2022 to 59.93 thousand people in September 2022. During the same period the number of rural poor people also decreased by 0.66 thousand people from 85.26 thousand people in March 2022 to 84.60 people in September 2022.

The Poverty Line in September 2022 was recorded at IDR 584,939/capita/month with a composition of the Food Poverty Line of IDR 453,342 (77.50 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of IDR 131,597 (22.50 percent).

In March 2022, on average, poor households in Central Kalimantan had 4.45 household members. Thus, the average poverty line per poor household is IDR 2,602,979/poor household/month.
