July 2023: The number of air and sea transport passengers has increased compared to June 2023, by 11.81 percent and 6.89 percent respectively

Abstract

Flight frequency in July 2023 increased by 5.98 percent compared to June 2023, from 1,004 flights to 1,064 flights.
The number of air transportation passengers increased by 11.81 percent, from 97,682 people (June 2023) to 109,220 people (July 2023).
Goods traffic using air transportation increased by 14.10 percent, from 1,213 tons (June 2023) to 1,384 tons (July 2023).
The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Central Kalimantan region decreased by 0.92 percent, from 759 visits (June 2023) to 752 visits (July 2023).
The number of sea transportation passengers increased by 6.89 percent, from 50,402 people (June 2023) to 53,873 people (July 2023).
Traffic of goods using sea transportation decreased by 13.57 percent, from 1.95 million tonnes (June 2023) to 1.69 million tonnes (July 2023).
During July 2023, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (72.62 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (42.11 percent).
