Kalimantan Tengah economy will grow 4.14 percent in 2023

Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Tengah based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2023 reached IDR 208.8 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR 113.6 trillion.
Kalimantan Tengah economy in 2023 will grow 4.14 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Corporate Services Business Field at 11.18 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) at 7.69 percent.
The economy of Kalimantan Tengah in quarter IV-2023 versus quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y) experienced growth of 6.49 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Corporate Services Business Field at 18.19 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) experienced the highest growth of 14.93 percent.
The economy of Kalimantan Tengah in quarter IV-2023 to quarter III-2023 experienced growth of 8.50 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Mining and Quarrying Business Field experienced the highest growth of 27.36 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 19.58 percent.
The spatial economic structure of Kalimantan in 2023 will still be dominated by Kalimantan Timur Province at 48.38 percent. Kalimantan Tengah Province is in fourth place with a contribution of 11.98 percent.
