The Combined Farmer's Terms of Trade (FTT) in Kalimantan Tengah Province for May 2024 is 124.08 or down 0.65 percent compared to April 2024

●      Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

●      NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.

●      The Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah Province in May 2024 decreased by 0.65 percent compared to April 2024, namely from 124.89 to 124.08. This decline was caused by the decline in exchange rates in almost all subsectors, namely Food Crops (1.11 percent), Horticulture (2.96 percent), People's Plantation Crops (0.40 percent), and Livestock (0.56 percent).

●      In May 2024, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah Province by 0.09 percent, which was mainly caused by an increase in the index in the Personal Care and Other Services group (0.33 percent);  Recreation, Sports and Culture group (0.20 percent); Food, Beverage and Tobacco group (0.11 percent); Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group (0.11 percent); and the Health group (0.10 percent).

●      The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Tengah Province in May 2024 decreased by 0.63 percent, from 129.51 (April 2024) to 128.70 (May 2024).Nilai Tukar Petani (NTP) adalah perbandingan indeks harga yang diterima petani (It) terhadap indeks harga yang dibayar petani (Ib).
