June 2024: The number of air transportation passengers during June 2024 increased by 9.92 percent and the number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 12.58 percent compared to May 2024

Abstract

Flight frequency in June 2024 increased by 1.75 percent compared to May 2024, from 1,141 flights to 1,161 flights.
The number of air transportation passengers increased by 9.92 percent, from 105,328 people (May 2024) to 115,778 people (June 2024).
Goods traffic using air transportation decreased by 0.25 percent, from 2,007 tons (May 2024) to 2,002 tons (June 2024).
The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region decreased by 8.13 percent, from 824 visits (May 2024) to 757 visits (June 2024).
The number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 12.58 percent, from 56,024 people (May 2024) to 48,974 people (June 2024).
Traffic of goods using sea transportation decreased by 18.98 percent, from 2.19 million tonnes (May 2024) to 1.77 million tonnes (June 2024).
During June 2024, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (69.58 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (44.81 percent).
