Abstract

The Joint NTP of Kalimantan Tengah rose 2.65 percent, from 120.44 (August 2021) to 123.63 (September 2021). This increase was driven by an increase in the exchange rate for smallholder plantation crops (3.62 percent), food crops (1.63 percent), livestock (1.54 percent), and fisheries (0.97 percent). Horticulture was the only sub-sector that experienced a decline in the exchange rate (1.63 percent).

The highest FTT occurred in the smallholder plantation sub-sector (144.04), followed by the livestock sub-sector (106.06), fisheries (102.80), horticulture (98.42), and food crops (95.23).

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) increased by 2.68 percent, from 121.55 (August 2021) to 124.81 (September 2021).

The price index received by farmers (It) was 134.52 (up 2.94 percent) and the price index paid by farmers (Ib) was 108.81 (up 0.28 percent).

The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in September 2021 was 109.21 or an increase of 0.30 percent compared to August 2021.
