Abstract

Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

Kalimantan Tengah's Joint NTP rose 2.49 percent, from 125.11 (October 2021) to 128.22 (November 2021). This increase was driven by an increase in the exchange rate in all sub-sectors, namely the people's plantation sub-sector (3.12 percent), livestock sub-sector (1.84 percent), food crops sub-sector (1.45 percent), horticulture sub-sector (0.89 percent). and fisheries sub-sector (0.70 percent).

In November 2021, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah by 0.40 percent due to an increase in the transportation group, food, beverage, and tobacco groups as well as personal care and other services groups.

The Kalimantan Tengah Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in November 2021 was 129.38, an increase of 2.27 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
