Abstract

The economy of Barito Utara based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the third quarter of 2024 reached IDR3,337.4 billion, at constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR1,974.8 billion.
The economy of Barito Utara in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023 (Y-on-Y) grew by 6.15 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Primary sector at 7.47 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Final Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 13.48 percent.
The economy of Barito Utara in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2024 (Q-to-Q) experienced growth of -3.35 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Secondary sector at 7.99 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Government Final Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) at 16.29 percent.
The cumulative economy of Barito Utara until the third quarter of 2024 grew by 4.92 percent (C-to-C). In terms of production, the Primary sector experienced the highest growth of 6.48 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Household Consumption Final Expenditure Component (PK-RT) experienced the highest growth of 6.50 percent.
The spatial economic structure of Kalimantan Tengah in the third quarter of 2024 was still dominated by Kotawaringin Timur Regency at 17.32 percent. Barito Utara Regency was in fifth place with a contribution of 6.01 percent. In terms of Q-to-Q, Yon-Y, and C-to-C, all regencies in the Kalimantan Tengah region generally experienced positive growth.
