February 2022 National Labor Force Survey Officer Training

Today until tomorrow (25-26 January 2022), BPS Barito Utara conducts training for the February 2022 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). This training activity is led by the Regional Instructor for BPS North Barito Regency, Andry Christian Hutabarat.

This training aims to prepare survey officers before the implementation of the February 2022 Sakernas so that the data produced is of high quality. This training is expected to harmonize officers' understanding of the concepts and definitions used in this Sakernas activity. This was due to a change in the method of updating households and several other changes compared to the previous Sakernas.

Sakernas activity itself is one of the surveys that produces many important indicators. These indicators include: Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) and Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK). Employment indicators produced by Sakernas are widely used in government policy making.
